Doggie Day Care

We are thoroughly enjoying being a two dog family! Chloe the Golden Retriever is spending the week with us while her family is out of town. Coco spent the week with her while we were out of town. It is working perfectly. Since Chloe is used to a BIG backyard, the first thing I did was open the gate to the other side of our yard (where the pool is). Chloe wasted no time stepping into the pool and enjoying a little swim. This stuns and amazes our girls because Coco has nothing to do with the water. So we close the dog door so we don't have a wet dog inside and we hope Chloe doesn't catch a cold! Chloe also dazzled us with her stair climbing abilities - another thing that Coco doesn't do. Thankfully, we just put some chairs in front of the steps and all is solved. I wonder if "the girls" talk to each other and Coco says, "Dude! not in my house! We don't go there!" Because Chloe is so calm and well mannered, Carolyn enjoys walking her on the leash while Dad keeps up with Coco. Carolyn says she is Chloe's favorite. I'm still Coco's #1.
