We had a lovely picnic at the top of the mountain yesterday. Scott was most excited about the Indian Fry Bread that was in the concession stand. Carolyn is always adventurous and up for trying new foods; Elyse needs a lot more convincing - but we were so proud that she tried it...and were not nearly as surprised as she was that she liked it. Who doesn't like fry bread?! What's not to like?! our apologies to Jillian Michaels.... Take note of the fry bread in the picture of us with Elyse: can you tell which piece Scooter had to himself?!
You have to take notice of the sky in these pictures - all clear and sunny above Carolyn; dark and ominous behind Scott. They were sitting on opposite sides of the table and there was a storm coming over the mountain behind Scott.
