Wow - where has time gone? I've been teaching summer school so June kept us busy with that. The girls went to school with me almost every day - on the days they couldn't stay home with Dad. They are very happy Dad has Thursdays off! June seemed to fly by because we were busy. I now have 33 (OK, 32 after today...) days of vacation and we're back to school in early August. I actually report in August 3; the kids start August 9.
We were trying to think of a way to celebrate Canada Day today. I remember working at International Music Camp and being awakened with "Oh Canada" on July 1. We were trying to think of a Canadian food we could enjoy today...we couldn't really come up with anything, so we had French Toast for dinner. Maybe I'll say, "Good night, eh." when I kiss the girls good night.

Today the girls and I went to see Toy Story 3. They'd gone to see it with Dad a couple weeks ago and loved it. I loved it too -who doesn't like Toy Story!? I actually cried at the end - it was a well done movie.
We are very excited to have our dog friend, Chloe, joining us next week. She's actually coming tomorrow. Everyone enjoys having that very gentle, calm dog at our house. Actually, Carolyn and Elyse are looking forward to swimming with her! Our dogs don't go in the pool...but Chloe loves it. I hope she brings her floaties.
We girls are leaving for Tucson to see "our Magnusons" on Saturday. I'll have to post pictures of our 4th of July adventure. Should be fun. We haven't been to Tucson in a long time!
