We decided today that there can be no such thing as a bad day at the beach. Well, OK, maybe a tsunami or wind or getting your arm bitten off by a shark could make it a bad day. We haven't had any of that happen to us, so every day has been a great day at the beach. The girls are so enjoying their boogie boards and play so nicely together with them (they each have their own... so the good thing is they don't have to share) and it is nice to see them getting along so well. Vacation sort of does that to a family I guess.

had our favorite San Diego company join us for dinner: Joan. Elyse has been asking all week when Joan is coming and we were all happy to see her. We had the wonderful staff of the Four Seasons light up the fire and we enjoyed s'mores for dessert tonight.
