After our canoeing adventure we couldn't do much....we had our picnic lunch and then when the lightning stopped we decided it was safe enough for the girls to swim. So we hung out by the dock and let the girls swim...while Mom froze.
The cold weather and cloudy skies didn't bother the girls. They had a blast jumping off the dock and swimming here and there. Carolyn is surely the more confident swimmer - swimming from dock to dock (about 100 yards...I have no concept of distance). Elyse was happy jumping off the dock and swimming by the shore.
