We had a very nice day celebrating Scooter's birthday today. He and I spent the afternoon at the Desert Botanical Garden enjoying the Chili and Chocolate Festival. It was very yummy! We came home and were too full for dinner, so we went right to the birthday cake (homemade Carrot Cake - thank you Carol Anderson for the recipe, where ever you are!) and presents. The girls got Scott a selection of dark chocolates and Elyse made Daddy-o a beautiful woven bookmark.
