I have learned this about myself: I reach a point during the Christmas Season where I just say, "I am done" and I quit shopping (done or not - sorry to those who aren't getting gifts from us!), I quit decorating (done or not), I quit baking (when I just get too tired to do any more or my pantry is missing something for a recipe) and I just stop and enjoy. I have reached that point (OK, I do need to get one more thing....) and tonight, after finishing a batch of caramel corn said to my beloved, "I am DONE." To which he said, "Didn't you say that last night?!" ANYWAY, the cookies are baked, the puppy chow is made (with too much butter, as usual...we will let Ted M. be the judge of that...), my favorite Chex Mix is made, Scott's bon bons, Elyse's corn flake wreaths and Carolyn's sugar cookies. If anyone else has further requests, they are too late.
Scott and Carolyn helped with the wreaths yesterday. It was good father/daughter bonding time.
