We made our usual trek to Tucson for Christmas and even though it was a short visit, there was no shortage of fun and family. The girls were anxious to get back home to the new bikes they'd gotten just before Christmas and to see what else Santa (and Mom and Dad) had left under the tree in Peoria. We had such fun with my sister, Gert and her family, and my brother, Garth and his familiy. The first picture is of all the cousin that were in Tucson: Ted, Joan, Ben, Jake, Steve, Jill, Elyse and Carolyn; the next is of my three favorite "gingers": Ted, Elyse and Jill.
Elyse and Jake have such a special bond.... Elyse says, "He just getsme." I love listening to the two of them talk. And the final picture is of The Mielkes as we were leaving on Christmas Day.
