After Doe Mountain, we went to Fay Canyon - just down the road a bit. It was supposed to be a short easy hike - and it was. Except....my family was tired of: a.) hiking b.) walking c.) being outside d.) all of the above. Yes, D is the correct answer. They lasted awhile and really tried to be good sports, but Elyse tuckered out about halfway...Dad stayed back with her and Carolyn and I continued...until she took a break...then I finished the walk. It wasn't as great as others, but I would recommend it to a family with kids who might otherwise teeter over the edge of a cliff.
