Finally! It was a beautiful day and we had to go hiking. Actually, yesterday was pretty nice and Scooter and I got out for a walk...but today I was so happy to get to go on the rocks and hike.
Sadly, the children did not share my excitement....
We started out at Doe Mountain. We were a little nervous when the woman at the picnic table said it took them three hours...we began the hike and were wondering who labeled the hike "easy" because it was bordering "challenging" (see also: sledding). We continued onward and were rewarded for our efforts with beautiful vistas at the top of the mesa. Coming down was even faster....total hiking time: one hour.
