We really could call this part of the Christmas festivities 'The Feats of Strength'. Every year we have a Washer Tournament and a Cornhole Tournament. We used to have a Ping Pong segment as well, but that seems to have gone to the way side and was replaced with many rounds of Knockout. Things get quite competitive and all light hearted. I mean, we keep coming back every year so there don't seem to be any grudges. We had a nearly equal number of girls and boys this year, so our pairings were boy/girl. Girls drew boys' names and that was your partner. I was with Jake. Carolyn was with Steve. Elyse was with Ben. Scooter was with Jeanne. I am pretty certain Jake and I were out quickly in bean bags but it came down to Zona/Jake vs. Carolyn/Steve in washers.
