So I've been doing my share of running this year...and what better way to start of a Thanksgiving Day than with some fun outside with the family?! I'll admit it, we were too cheap to pay the money to run in an 'official' race....so we created our own. Gert really did most of the work - she came up with medals and t-shirts for the participants. I came up with the 'route' and well Beth....it was all her idea. Scott ran downtown with the Allmaras Family; it was the Ramseys, Mielkes, and Magnusons at our house. Mike was the winner with Jim and Ted sharing the 2nd place honors...they had a Cereal Box Scramble competition to break the tie and Ted ended up winning the official 2nd place medal.
