Another one of my favorites: Go, Dog, Go! Well, we really didn't read this one today, but I thought it was fitting for our dog, Coco. Coco had a tough day today after a little run in with another dog. Long story short: Coco ended up at the vet to get 13 stitches in her leg/chest. She's been moping around all day - refusing to lay (lie?) down and just sitting. It was pretty comical, actually, to watch her literally falling asleep sitting up, then catching herself...you know, like happens in church or while you're driving sometimes?! Her eyes looked so sad (OK, maybe it was the drugs the vet gave her). I tried to get her to go outside to pee today (can't use the doggie door) and she looked at me like, "You expect me to go outside with this 'cone of shame' on my head? Are you nuts?" I really think I could be a dog whisperer. I'm very in tune with my pet and what she's thinking. : ) Hopefully she will be all healed up and back to her old self in about 10 days.
Poop Coco. Perhaps she will need a play date with her friend, CHloe when she's all better....NASCAR is around the corner, and we were thinking Coco might like to have a weekend sleepover. :)
