Vacationing AGAIN!!!

Right after school on Friday, we began our drive to Arizona to California.

The drive from Arizona was very long--6 hours. During the drive over, we watched some movies and listened to some music. We stopped for dinner in Quartzite, Arizona, where Carolyn and I had pizza, and mom and dad had salads. When we got to the Marriott, it was 9:00 California time.

Vacationing is very fun because sometimes you get a very good view of the ocean. We're staying at the Marriott at Newport Beach in California! This afternoon we're going to go to the pool, where we will have our first of many picnics.

Mom and Dad are big fans of the beach, while I'd rather spend time at the pool. Dad especially loves Aliso State Beach in Laguna Beach, where the waves crash (big and loud) right at the shore. If I have my way, we'll spend most of our days at the pool. But since I'm with my family, we have to do whatever they want. I'm sure that we'll come to easy compromises :-)
