Family Pictures

One of our greatest adventures on any vacation is the "let's-take-our-own-family-picture-on-the-last-night". We end up all laughing so much at our own amusement - can Dad/Mom get back to the picture in time? How's it going to look? Are all looking good? This year was even more fun because we let the girls each set up one of their own (I won't label whose is whose!). The part you can't see is that while taking the pictures in front of the fireplace, we were also trying to watch "Wipeout" on TV (couldn't delay pictures until the end of the show....). So between pictures - or as we were waiting for the snap - we'd be watching the show groaning and reacting to the falls/wipeouts of the contestants on the TV, then quickly looking - and smiling - at the camera for just enough time for the picture. I guess it was one of those "you had to be there" moments. Family pictures on the last night is one of my favorite parts of our vacations.
