We are enjoying our Spring Break in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona...We arrived late in the afternoon on Saturday and realized, "Wow, they were serious about that cold front!" We unpacked, claimed rooms, checked things out, and settled in. Only complaint: slow wi-fi.
I was awakened at 4 a.m. Sunday morning by a big crack of thunder and the sound of rain. I waited a few minutes for one of the girls to land in bed with us...but they didn't, so I slept soundly for another couple of hours. We woke up Sunday morning to a beautiful covering of snow - and more coming down. We were glad we had snowpants and warm clothes. We had a snowman built by 8:30 a.m. and the girls spent the day in and out of the snow. We are happy to have a fireplace by which to hang our wet stuff!
