PCC - End of the Year Fun

Carolyn was one of 15 students from PCC chosen to sing with Roger Waters (of Pink Floyd) at his "The Wall" concert on May 15.  It was an exciting adventure - and I was happy to tag along.  I was far more interested in the backstage goings on  than I was in the show itself.  It was great fun.  The group sang "Another Brick in the Wall" with Mr. Waters - one rehearsal and they were good to go!  He was very impressed with their preparedness and how well they were able to perform as needed.

At the end of every season of Phoenix Children's Chorus, there is an awards banquet...and of course, awards are presented.  Carolyn received the OUTSTANDING THEORY STUDENT award for the second year in a row!  We are very proud of her accomplishment.  Carolyn will be beginning her fourth year in PCC next year. She will sing in the Concert Choir, which is a touring choir. We are very excited for her to get to start travelling - something we know she loves.  I believe they are planning to visit San Francisco in June 2013.
