I have to say I do an excellent job of packing food and drink for our vacations. We usually hit the grocery story for fresh items throughout our vacation, but for the most part, I pack all the dry goods and "non fresh" stuff we need - right down to the frozen fruit for smoothies. We will take very little home with us tomorrow - which is good since our car will be packed with an extra person (Scott) and his stuff....and the dogs. We hardly overpacked the dog food! That's how well we did!
Sadly, another indicator of the end of vacation (besides knowing it is the end of our "lease") is that we are out of liquor. Then you know it is time to go home. Sidecars are pretty tasty no matter where you are!
