Cardinals vs. Seahawks

Carolyn's teacher recently wrote this comment to her on the back of an envelope, "Thanks for always doing what you do and doing it well!"  In the envelope were two tickets to the Cardinals season opener against the Seattle Seahawks - and a parking pass!  We were very proud that Carolyn was selected by her teacher to receive this prize and recognition for being an exemplory student.  So who got to go to the game with her???? Mom!  I'd never been to an NFL game, and even if it was the Cardinals (who are not projected to do well this season), we went.  The parking pass was a huge bonus and wow does that organization have that system down:  park, catch the bus, drop off at the stadium. All that done - and it still took us 30 minutes to walk to our seats!  It was a fun time and I commented to the Seahawks fan behind me, "I love those jerseys! I could be a Seahawks fan just for the jersey!"  We enjoyed the game - well, the first half. The Cardinals were winning at the half so we ducked out early to beat the crowd and were home in time to watch most of the third quarter on TV. Where I could actaully see the ball!  Best part:the Cardinals won!

Ready to go!

Carolyn did not want to be included in this picture.

Someone else suggested we take one together...
so she complied.

National Anthem:  very well done.

Mom and daughter good times....
