After our adventure on the road, we were happy as can be to finally reach the Marriott. Even better was the fact that the temperature had dropped over 50 - yes 50 - degrees over the course of our trip. We had seen 125 on the car thermometer in the desert and it was under 75 when we got to the resort. I was even happy to need a sweatshirt and who can beat this view!
