O Canada....

Back in 2010 when the Winter Olympics were in Vancouver, I admired the mittens that the Canadian athletes were wearing.  I mentioned this to some of our Canadian friends and when the 2014 Olympics rolled around, I found these mittens under my Christmas tree:

And yes:  it did get cold enough here to wear them! 

I was equally surprised when my friend, Judy, presented me with a USA pair!
