April 10 - Three Dog Night

We had a fun weekend being caretakers of THREE dogs. Chloe was visiting us while her owners were at NASCAR. She and Coco get along great - they've "vacationed" together before. Annie fit right in with the big girls, even though Coco and Chloe would look at her like she was a bit of a pest. All is well though and there were no skirmishes or time outs. Scott and the girls took their pack for a walk yesterday morning and they all agreed it was fun for each of them to have their own dog. NO, we will not be adopting more dogs just so we can all have our own...we'll be content with what we've got. Annie continues to capture our hearts and our laps. She truly is a lap dog - one that will fit in your lap and allow you to retain feeling in your lower limbs (unlike when Coco decides she wants to be a lap dog....).

Annie is still painfully skinny. Scott took her to the vet for shots on Friday and they said she is mixed breed (mixed of what breeds is what I want to know?!) and is underweight (duh). We were relieved to know she didn't have worms or any other health issues. So we'll just keep feeding our little malnourished girl and hope she starts to gain weight with a stable diet.
