I've had a great birthday celebration and I'm determined to milk it for as long as I can! I walked into my classroom Tuesday morning to find it "vandalized" in a very fun, good sort of way. I had told the girls I w
anted to get to work early that day to get a few things done before the day began...well...that didn't happen...so I moved my classes to another classroom so I could "enjoy" the mess. It was fun and I had many well wishes from every class that I saw that day.
We girls wore our Sesame Street shirts to school on Tuesday. I have to say I was a bit saddened that most of my students did not know who was on my shirt. What is becoming of our children today!?
Scott and Carolyn came home with a cake
for me that even
ing and I finally got to blow out candles and make my wish. Carolyn put all 40 candles on a rather tiny cake (actually, it made it easier to blow out the candles because they were all so close together!).
