Carolyn continues to soar through the ranks at Tae Kwon Do. This week she achieved the rank of Red Belt - Level 1. I was so proud as I watched her test - her moves were done with precision and conviction and she broke her board on the first try. She has such confidence when she is doing her form and sparring was fun to see as well. (I thought she seemed to be getting bored with her opponent) 
We have traditionally gone out for Chinese food after awards...we worked our way up from Panda Express to Pei Wei...and this time Sushi Yuki. YUM. We are very proud that Carolyn has an adventurous and sophisticated palate and that we all enjoyed the sushi. (Elyse was happy to go the neighbor's house for pizza!)
