More from The Homeland

I love this look of North Dakota. The first words out of my mouth after a deep breath are, "I miss this CLEAN air!" Look at that clear sky (this was one of the only sunny days I had while there!) and the harvested wheat field...and miles and miles of miles and miles.

This is just one of many perfect ears of corn in Daddy's garden. Besides the clear sky and clean air, I also miss the color green. The cornfields and the garden were very green and plentiful this time of year. And finally there was rhubarb: mission accomplished! The only thing my family requested me to bring back was rhubarb. Thank you, Dominic and Dawn, for having that...and for Ginger the dog for posing by the plant.
