Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday and for the past 13 years, I have hosted dinner at my house. We kind of have it down now - it is nice that the menu doesn't change much....I love that everyone pitches in and brings something for all to enjoy. This year we were blessed to have two of my siblings and all their kids...a cousin...and another neice...we never have a shortage of family! It was a very fun day - complete with the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Craft: weaving rugs...or hats in some cases. It was fun to watch and I think Ben may have gone home with an idea of a Christmas Craft for his class of NINE 4th graders.
You might note Gert is wearing her shirt from last year...I had mine on too, but hmmm....there are no pictures of me! Elyse is determined to learn how to crochet and Gert is a patient teacher. Note Elyse's necklace and Gert's bracelet: trading post scores!
Finally, after everyone left, I exclaimed, "Once again! We didn't take a GROUP picture! Argh!" Next year....I'll make it the first thing I do.
