I have now safely returned from The Homeland after a very nice week with my parents. Several people commented that it has been a beautiful winter and has not been terribly cold until I showed up! Every morning on my way to the Rockin' Fitness Center, I would take a picture of the temperature at the bank (the same bank that, when in high school, we'd check to see how much time we had to drive around before curfew). The temperature, obviously, didn't hold steady anywhere, just "cold" but I have to admit: I really enjoyed it. I will take a cold week in ND now and then just to enjoy a break from all that Arizona warmth and sunshine - although I am still in sweats today: 62 degrees in Peoria. I had a text from The Homeland today saying it is 29 degrees today. See, I leave and it warms right back up!
