We are spending the week in Las Vegas because the girls don't have any memories of being here and have always wanted to see what all the fuss is about.
We checked into our resort the evening of New Years Day (we just couldn't pull away from the Ramseys any earlier) and quickly got settled. The set up of our condo allows the girls to have their own "apartment" and they are enjoying that independence. They unpacked their own breakfast and snack items (since they have their own kitchen they can make their own food), claimed their sides of the bed, sinks and drawers. I love that they are old enough and capable enough to do all of that on their own while Scooter and I settled into our side.
Even though it was late - well, it was maybe 7 p.m. - the girls wanted to hit the pool. It was actually very nice despite the "cold night air" and the hot tub felt so good. We had pizza for dinner and just hung out enjoying the view of the pool area.
