Carolyn has been participating in Peoria's Swim Team this summer. You might recall pictures from her first meet. Last night was her final meet of the season and it was exciting! Her goal all year has been to get a blue ribbon and she accomplished that feat last night in the 50m breast stroke. From the stands I could tell how hard she was working and when she finished, she commented that she almost didn't think she was going to make it: evidently one of her breaths left her with a mouthful of water. We were very proud parents. She finished a very close second in the backstroke and was clearly second in the 100 IM. It was a very fun swim season and we look forward to doing it again next year.
