We always start our holiday season with PCC concerts the first weekend of December. There are five choirs in the organization and they are all really very good. This is the 5th year Carolyn has sung with this group and she is gradually working her way through 'the ranks'. She sings in Concert Choir, which is a touring group. Last year (June 2013) she travelled to San Francisco and it has become 'the best place in the world' and she is certainly an expert on the place. They got to do a workshop with Chanticleer, a professional men's chorus, while there as well as sight seeing and some other performances. In Summer 2014 they will travel to Eugene, OR where they will compete in the PiccFest and Oregon Bach Festival. They will get to workshop with Bob Chilcott, a former member of the Kings Singers (there is far too much in his biography to tell here - and hey, this is about us, not him). This adventure will cost her about $1600, so hey, if any of you faithful readers would like to contribute to her choral education, please contact Carolyn or me and we'll talk you through how to make that tax deductible donation possible. Next year they are scheduled to tour to Buenos Aires (yes, Argentina). Anyway, Carolyn loves to sing and we are proud to be a part of this organization and are more than happy to support this wonderful hobby of hers.
