THIRD STOP: The Venetian. While Scott and Carolyn were at lunch, Elyse and I hung out at The Venetian. I had never been there before and it really did feel like we were back in Venice. We liked it so much that we had to meet Scott and Carolyn for ice cream then go back for more pictures.

BEN AND JERRY'S ICE CREAM: I had promised Elyse ice cream after our lunch. I tried to convince her that Haagen-Daas would be better, but she insisted on Ben and Jerry's. Gotta give it to the girl for her taste. You have to look very closely at the flavor I chose.
FOURTH STOP: M&M Store. Who doesn't love M&M's? I have finally admitted that I have a problem: I am an M&M hoarder. I have, at almost any given time, no less than five pounds of M&M's in my pantry at home. I love to put them out for guests and in our M&M machine, but it isn't like I "sit on the couch and eat chocolate candy" like my dad did. : ) We were lookers and not buyers today. I was proud of my self control.
FIFTH and FINAL STOP: MGM. We didn’t hang around long at the MGM – just long enough to see the lion habitat and to watch the lions lay around. Elyse really liked the purple pansies outside the hotel and we got a good view of New York, New York. Needless to say, we were all exhausted after a long day of walking!
