It's been awhile since we've visited a National Park so the girls were pretty enthused about doing the Junior Ranger Program. It really is a neat program and it gives the kids something to do, things to look for while exploring the park. Both girls completed the program and earned their Junior Ranger badges. I suggested to Carolyn that we iron them on the new quilt I (with Gert's help) made and she looked at me in astonishment saying, "No. We'll make a NEW quilt." Once we started the program I feel inspired to visit more National Parks. Which one will be next? Makes me wish we'd done it earlier on some of our earlier excursions...Yosemite, Glacier Bay...There's still time to get to more I guess!
