Godchildren and my Favorite Aunt

I was raised Catholic.  Choosing godparents was a pretty big deal in my family and I remember being flattered that my siblings asked me to be a godparent to their child. It was a pretty big deal to me.  I can't say I am the greatest influence on their religious life....however, I'd like to think I might have an influence on their spiritual path.  Whatever my influence (or lack thereof...), they are all very special to me and I love them all very much. Each of them holds a special place in my heart and in my prayers.

My favorite aunt:  Avis
My Aunt Avis is one of the few people who read this blog, so I have to give her a special shout out.
She always says, "Whichever niece or nephew that I'm talking to at the time, is my favorite."
So, whichever aunt or uncle I happen to have my arm around is currently my favorite.
Avis is my dad's youngest - and only living -  sister.
